Dr. Praveer Sinha, CEO and MD, Tata Power, has been adjudged as the CEO of the Year in the Green Growth Visionary category at the BT Best CEO Awards 2025 for his outstanding leadership in driving Tata Power’s green energy transformation.
The award was presented by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, and Mr. @Aroon Purie, Editor-in-Chief of India Today Group, in the presence of Shri S. Jaishankar, Union Minister of External Affairs, and other industry leaders in Mumbai.
Under Dr. Sinha’s leadership, Tata Power has made significant advancements in the green energy sector, increasing its clean energy portfolio with a target to achieve 70% clean energy by 2030 from 44% currently.
