Gurugram : Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), has signed an MoU with Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) & Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi, to provide seven state-of-the-art medical equipments under CSR for the benefit of urology and renal department patients.
Equipments include Video Urodynamic Machine with Near Infra Red Spectroscopy, TRILOGY Lithotripter, Thulium Fibre Laser Machine, Portable Mobile Endoscopy Machine, 3-in-1 endoscopy system, etc.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), POWERGRID, Sh. Jasbir Singh, ED (CSR), POWERGRID, Sh. Anshuman Tandon, CGM (Corp. Comm.), Sh. A. K. Rai, CGM (CSR), Sh. Ashok Kumar Mishra, GM (CSR & HR), NR-I, POWERGRID, Dr. (Prof.) Sandeep Bansal, Director, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, Dr. Charu Bamba, Medical Superintendent, Dr. R. K. Wadhwa, Senior CMO, Dr. Pawan Vasudeva, HOD Urology Department, Ms. Poonam Dhanda, Medical Social Welfare Officer & Member CSR Committee, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital.
The CSR assistance is being provided by POWERGRID for installation of high-tech equipments, upgrading various functions of the hospital that will benefit patients coming from all over India.
