POWERGRID has received LoIs for 2 TBCB Projects worth ₹754 Cr. (NCT Estimations) for Augmentation of transformation capacity at KPS1 (GIS) and KPS2 (GIS) (Phase-V Part B1 and Part B2 scheme) & Augmentation of transformation capacity by 3×500 MVA, 765/400 kV and 400/220 kV ICTs at Bidar PS.
The first project comprises of augmentation works at under construction substations in Gujarat. The second project comprises augmentation works at under construction substation in Karnataka.
These projects shall facilitate evacuation of power from RE Generation projects.
