Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) marked its 35th Raising Day on October 23, 2024, with vibrant celebrations across the country. The event in Gurugram was graced by Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy, who commended Chairman R. K. Tyagi and his team for their pivotal role in achieving “One Nation, One Grid, One Frequency,” thereby contributing to the realization of one of the largest synchronous grids globally. The Minister also lauded POWERGRID’s significant contributions to the Energy Transition.
