The company shared impressive performance numbers, noting that as of April 30, 2026, it successfully operates 291 sub-stations and over 1,85,102 kilometers of transmission lines across the country. By using advanced digital tools, automation, and modern technology, POWERGRID has managed to keep its massive power grid running smoothly. In fact, the company has maintained an average power transmission system availability of over 99.78%, ensuring a highly reliable electricity supply across India.
