NEW DELHI. The Board of Directors of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has approved key leadership appointments to its senior management team. Anjana Luthra has been appointed as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer with immediate effect. A Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, she previously served as General Manager (Company Secretariat) and brings over 25 years of extensive experience spanning corporate governance, legal affairs, compliance, finance, and investor relations.
Concurrently, Venkata Subrahamanayam Vallurie has been named the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from July 1, 2026. Currently serving as the Chief General Manager (Finance & Accounts) within the organization, Vallurie is a qualified Cost Accountant with a distinguished career of over 35 years. His three decades of service with Power Grid encompass deep expertise in financial accounting, resource mobilization, ERP implementation, internal audit, and core finance operations.
