Shri Santosh Sarangi, Secretary, MNRE extended his sincere appreciation to India’s renewable energy workforce. In a message to all the stakeholders engaged in operating the sector, he highlighted India’s rise as a Global Leader from 70 GW in 2014 to nearly 220 GW in 2025. Over 1 million people are now employed across the New Renewable Sector in India .The Ministry committed to supporting this workforce in building a clean, energy-secure future and and emphasized their key role in meeting India’s target of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030 says Shri Santosh Sarangi, Secretary, MNRE.
