NEW DELHI. ONGC has signed a landmark long-term Ethane Unloading, Storage and Handling (USH) Services Agreement with Petronet LNG Ltd. on 3 December 2025, marking a first for any Indian CPSE. The agreement enables 600 KTPA of ethane terminalling and handling at PLL’s upcoming Dahej facilities, boosting India’s ethane import capacity and ensuring a reliable long-term feedstock supply for OPaL’s petrochemical complex at Dahej. This strategic partnership enhances the availability of affordable petrochemicals in the country and underscores ONGC’s commitment to strengthening its position as an integrated energy major across the global energy value chain.
