NEW DELHI. Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited and Oil India Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding at India Energy Week 2026 in Goa to explore opportunities for collaboration in oil and gas exploration. The agreement, signed by senior officials of both companies, provides a framework for technical cooperation and evaluation of joint participation in exploration activities, particularly under the Open Acreage Licensing Policy Round X and future bid rounds across Indian sedimentary basins. Officials said the partnership will combine the expertise of both PSUs to improve exploration efficiency and contribute to strengthening India’s energy security.
The agreement was formally inked by Shri Dinesh Singh, Chief General Manager (Geology), ONGC, and Shri D. S. Manral, Executive Director (E&D), OIL.
