NTPC to set up Rs 111 crore Tertiary Sewage Treatment Plant in Chhattisgarh's Korba city

NTPC Korba and Korba Municipal Corporation have signed an agreement. They will establish a sewage water treatment plant. NTPC Korba is investing Rs 111 crore in this project. The treated water will be reused for industrial purposes. Korba will be the first city in Chhattisgarh to reuse sewage water on a large scale.

NTPC has committed Rs 111 crore towards setting up this s advanced treatment facility. The plant will enable the the reuse of treated sewage water for industrial purposes at  the NTPC Korba plant.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Korba Mayor anju Devi, Corporation Commissioner Ashutosh Pandey, and Rajeev Khanna, ED, NTPC Korba.
