VIZAG. NTPC Simhadri has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Visakhapatnam, to establish a robotic surgery facility and a 3-MW solar plant. Under this 41.5 crore CSR initiative, 26.5 crore is dedicated to high-precision robotic equipment. Slated for completion by March 2028, the project aims to provide underprivileged patients with access to advanced, minimally invasive surgeries at subsidized rates while promoting sustainable energy for the hospital.
