NTPC Coal Mining took up an initiative to sponsor 80 youths including 4 girls from all coal mining project areas and its vicinity from the states of Jharkhand, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh for skill development training in two courses: Machine Operator Injection Moulding and Machine Operator Plastic Processing. The courses were carried out in association with Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Ranchi for a duration of 6 months.
Shri Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director (Coal mining), NTPC graced the valedictory session cum job offering letter ceremony as chief guest on 19th April, 2023. Shri Pravin Bachhav, Joint Director & Head, CIPET, Ranchi; Shri Naveen Jain, CGM, SSC-C&M; Shri B M Singh, GM (Engineering); Shri K S Murthy, GM(HR); Shri T K Konar, GM (Technical Services); and Shri Apurbha Ghosh, AGM(Engineering) were also present.
