GOUHATI. NTPC Bongaigaon started its two-week “Swachhta Pakhwada” cleanliness drive with a mass pledge-taking ceremony. Led by Head of Project Shri Arnab Maitra and GM (O&M) Shri Anurag Gupta, employees, senior officials, and union members gathered at the Administrative Building to promise to keep their workplaces, homes, and neighborhoods clean. Students at the NTPC Notre Dame Academy also joined the movement, taking their own cleanliness pledge administered by Principal Sister Manju Joseph to build good habits early in life.
Running from May 16th to May 31st, 2026, this campaign aims to bring the spirit of “Swachh Bharat” into daily life through teamwork. Over the next two weeks, NTPC Bongaigaon will host a variety of activities—including clean-up drives, tree planting, waste management workshops, and awareness campaigns—across the plant, housing colony, local schools, and nearby villages. These efforts highlight NTPC Bongaigaon’s ongoing commitment to protecting the environment and building a cleaner, healthier, and greener India.
