KOKRAJHAR. NTPC Bongaigaon employees showcased remarkable endurance and commitment to fitness by successfully completing the 42 km full marathon at the 2nd Kokrajhar NCC Full Marathon, organised in association with the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Government under the theme “City of Peace.” Three employees — Shri Shaik Muneer Basha, Addl GM (EMD), Shri Jitendra Kumar Mohanty, DGM (Mechanical Maintenance – Off Site), and Shri Yadagiri Kurukondalu, Senior Manager (Planning & Services) — completed the demanding race, bringing pride to the station. Over 30 employees and family members also participated in 5 km, 10 km and 21 km categories under the aegis of the Sports Council, NTPC Bongaigaon. Shri Anurag Gupta, GM (O&M), attended as Chief Guest, completed the 5 km run, and flagged off the Half Marathon along with NCC officials. The event saw participation from over 2,000 athletes and NCC cadets from across Assam, reinforcing the spirit of fitness, unity and community engagement promoted by NTPC Bongaigaon.
