BONGAIGAON. In a commendably compassionate gesture, employees of NTPC Bongaigaon have extended critical relief support to around 200 flood-affected families in Nepalikhuti and Bamun Pukhuri, two of the severely impacted areas in Assam’s Sivasagar district. To assist the families struggling with the aftermath of the recent deluge, employees voluntarily raised more than ₹1.6 lakh strictly from their own personal resources.
The collected funds were utilized to procure and distribute essential everyday relief materials directly to households across the two affected villages. This voluntary initiative reflects the deep commitment of NTPC Bongaigaon staff toward community welfare, social responsibility, and standing alongside local populations during times of natural crisis.
