NTPC Limited, Bongaigaon, Assam has received dual honours from the Greentech Foundation, winning the 11th CSR India Award 2025 in Healthcare Promotion and the 24th Global Environment & Sustainability Award 2025 for excellence in Environmental Protection.
The CSR award celebrates NTPC Bongaigaon’s impactful healthcare initiatives in Tuensang, Nagaland, aimed at strengthening infrastructure and access in one of the region’s most underserved districts, while the Environment award reflects its commitment to sustainable operations at its 750 MW plant through responsible resource management and ecological best practices. The awards, received on behalf of NTPC Bongaigaon by Ms. Smriti Das, Executive (CSR/R&R/LA) and Smt. Sheeja Ambika Sasidharan,AGM (EMG), at a ceremony in New Delhi, were later presented internally by Shri Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, in the presence of senior officials and dignitaries, reinforcing NTPC’s ongoing dedication to inclusive development and environmental excellence.
