The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) marked its 70th anniversary in New Delhi, attended by prominent dignitaries including MSME Minister Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, Secretary S.C.L. Das, and CMD Dr. Subhransu Acharya, along with officials from government bodies, industry associations, and MSME enterprises. The event highlighted NSIC’s vital role in supporting India’s vibrant MSME sector and called for a strategic roadmap for the next 70 years. The celebration featured a Foundation Day Lecture by Chief Economic Advisor Dr. V. Anantha Nageswaran, who discussed India’s macroeconomic outlook and policy initiatives to further strengthen MSMEs.
