NLCIL Launches Mobile Medical Dispensary for Project-Affected Villages

NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has launched a Mobile Medical Dispensary Van to provide essential healthcare services to the project-affected villages of Machhakata and New Patrapara South Open Cast Project (OCP). The initiative aims to improve healthcare access in remote areas and enhance overall community welfare.

The dispensary van was inaugurated on November 25, 2025, at the Community Health Centre, Chhendipada, by Hon’ble MLA Shri Agasthi Behera. The event was attended by NLCIL officials, including the ED/Coal Coordination and Project Head, along with local administrative leaders such as the Tahsildar, BDO, Medical Officer, Village Sarpanchs, and community representatives.

This move marks a significant step towards strengthening healthcare services and supporting the well-being of villages affected by the project.
