NEVELLY. NLC India Limited (NLCIL) grandly launched Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 aligned with CVC guidelines under the theme “Probity for Prosperity.” The inaugural function commenced with the flagging off of an awareness vehicle, “The Straight Path-Today & Forever,” promoting the “Zero Currency Note” concept to spread integrity messages across the region, alongside a themed floral and color artwork exhibition created by school students and citizens. The event also featured the launch of new vigilance-driven IT initiatives to enhance operational transparency and accountability.
Presiding over the ceremony, Director (HR) Shri Samir Swarup emphasized that probity is an essential driver of sustainable corporate growth and public trust. Delivering the Keynote Address, CVO Thiru Appakannu Govindarajan (IPoS) highlighted the importance of preventive vigilance, digital governance, and resolving operational bottlenecks in contract management. He also cautioned young students against the risks of social media deepfakes, urging them to practice digital hygiene and uphold strong moral values.
