The NIPM Bilaspur Chapter celebrated its Foundation Day with a successful event that gathered HR professionals, industry leaders, and esteemed guests. The program featured thought-provoking lectures from Dr. P.S. Mishra, former CMD of SECL, who discussed “Challenges for HR in the Mining Industry,” and Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director of IIM Sambalpur, who presented on the “Application of AI in HR.” Dr. Mishra emphasized the necessity for innovative thinking and the critical role of HR officers as change agents, while Prof. Jaiswal highlighted how AI is transforming HR functions, stating, “Every business is a software business today.”
The celebration began with a ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a warm welcome from Sh. Biranchi Das, DP SECL and President of the Bilaspur Chapter. The event attracted active participation from Heads of Departments, Area Personnel Managers, HR Officers, and members of NIPM, creating a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and professional networking.
