NHSRCL Signs Contract to Build India’s First Undersea Rail Tunnel in Maharashtra

National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has signed a contract with Afcons Infrastructure Limited, for the construction of 21-km long tunnel including India’s first 7 km Long Undersea Rail Tunnel in Maharashtra — for Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor.

NLCIL revamped the entire transport system in its 3 Neyveli Mines by replacing nearly 100 vehicles, including 47 personnel carriers, 34 open lorries, 7 canteen vans and 7 refuellers, with new vehicles of TATA SA 1218.T
