NHPC is observing ‘Swachhta Pakhwada 2025’ at its Corporate Office and all its Regional Offices, Projects and Power Stations across the country from 16th May to 31st May 2025 as per guidelines issued by the Government of India. Swachhta Pakhwada 2025 commenced on May 16th, 2025, with a pledge ceremony at the Corporate Office, wherein Shri R.K. Chaudhary, CMD, NHPC administered the ‘Swachhta Pledge’ to all employees. Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects), Shri Suprakash Adhikari, Director (Technical), Shri Santosh Kumar, CVO and other senior NHPC officers were also present on the occasion.
During the Pakhwada, NHPC will be organizing various activities as cleanliness awareness programmes, plantation, skit presentation, cleaning kit distribution, awareness programmes on hygiene, drawing and painting competitions etc. across all its locations.
