NEW DELHI. NHPC Limited successfully synchronised the second unit of 250 MW (Unit–3) of its 8×250 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project (SLHEP) with the National Grid at 9:00 PM on 21.01.2026.
On the occasion, Shri Bhupender Gupta, CMD, NHPC conveyed his gratitude to the various govt agencies of Govt of India the Govt of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam .
The Subansiri Lower HEP will be India’s largest hydroelectric project, supporting national energy requirements .
