NHIT, an Infrastructure Investment Trust by NHAI, concluded its largest fund-raising in InvIT Round-3, securing Rs. 16,000 crore for 889 km of national highways. With domestic and international investors, it raised Rs. 7,272 crore in unit capital and Rs. 9,000 crore in debt. Notable investors include Canadian and Ontario pension funds, Indian pension/provident funds, insurance companies, mutual funds, banks, and NHAI. NHIT now holds 15 toll roads spanning 1,525 km across 9 states.
