NGEL, PTC India Sign MoU for Renewable Power

NEW DELHI. NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has signed an MoU with PTC India Limited to boost renewable energy power sales. The agreement, signed on March 31, 2026, aims to facilitate green power trading through bilateral deals and market-based mechanisms, supporting India’s clean energy transition.

The partnership will enhance renewable energy commercialization and market access, with both companies exploring opportunities to sell green power generated by NGEL. The MoU was signed in the presence of senior officials, including NGEL CEO Sarit Maheshwari and PTC India CMD Dr. Manoj Kumar Jhawar.
