Union Minister for Civil Aviation and Steel, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia inaugurated Fly91, a regional airline, launching its maiden flight from Manohar International Airport (MOPA), Goa to Agatti Islands, Lakshadweep. He emphasized the transformative impact of PM Narendra Modi’s leadership on the aviation sector, citing the rise of six new regional airlines in the past decade. Scheduled flights from Goa to multiple destinations including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune will commence from March 18, 2024, followed by expansion to Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, and Nanded. This initiative aims to boost connectivity, tourism, and commerce while delivering affordable, safe, and efficient travel experiences.
The event was graced by Fly91 Chairman Shri. Harsha Raghavan, Shri Asangba Chuba Ao, Jt. Secretary MoCA and other officials from AAI and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
