The Govt of Indiaย has assigned the additional charge of GAIL (India) Limited’s Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) post to Meenaxi Rawat (IES). Rawat is an Indian Economic Service Officer of 1993 batch in the rank of Additional Secretary in the Government of India. Presently, she is serving as the CVO of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Mumbai.
Rawat has served in the Government of India for 29 years in Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Railway Board, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Labour & Department of Atomic Energy in the areas of Finance, Budget, Project Appraisal, Consumer welfare, Labour laws, Industrial and Public Policy. She holds M.A. & M. Phil in Economics from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and MBA from the University of Hull, United Kingdom.
