Shri Vinay Ranjan, Director (P&IR), Coal India, addressed the ‘HR Conclave 2024, organised by SAIL, on the theme ‘Moving from Personnel to HR – The Path Ahead’ in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ranjan stated that Coal India Limited is known not just for its massive workforce but also for its pioneering human resources practices. Keeping pace with the significant changes in the HR sector, CIL has implemented a slew of measures, such as implementing the HRMS for improved management of employee data, payroll etc. Chatbots and automated systems are being used to handle routine inquiries and tasks, resulting in improved efficiency. CIL also utilises technology to boost employee well-being and safety. The Conclave was attended by HR leaders from various industries and academia.
