MoU Signed for Advancing Sustainable Development at GSS'25

The Indian Institute of Sustainable Development (IISD) and Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha’s MKSSS Institute of Sustainability and Development Studies (ISDS), Pune, have successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during The Global Sustainability Summit 2025 (GSS’25). This collaboration aims to enhance education, research, and capacity building, particularly emphasizing faculty exchange at national and international levels in alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). The MoU was signed by Dr. Srikanta K. Panigrahi, the Hon’ble Director General of IISD, and CA. Manindra K Tiwari, with the agreement being received by Dr. Asmita Joshi from the Institute of Sustainability & Development Studies in Pune, under the witness of Ar. Nidhi Dixit Laturkar.

The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Honourable Minister Shri Tokhan Sahu and other esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Ajit Mangrulkar, Director-General of IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Ms. Sheetal Kalro, Deputy Director-General of IMC Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, further MoUs are anticipated with various organizations, such as the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Microsoft India, among others, which are currently in finalization stages. These partnerships signify a collective commitment to enhancing global sustainability initiatives and addressing pressing environmental challenges.
