Molbio’s revolutionary Truenat technology lauded at the World Health Assembly Goa, 30th May 2024: Molbio, a global disruptor in the point-of-care diagnostics space and the inventors of ground breaking Truenat machines received resounding acclaim at the 77th World Health Assembly currently underway in Geneva .The World Health Assembly is the decision-making body of WHO and is attended by delegations from all WHO Member States and focuses on a specific health agenda . The Global Fund which collaborates with the WHO to build stronger and resilient health systems across the globe, appreciated India’s commitment to eliminate TB by creating mass awareness, and intensive monitoring of programs using digital technologies. The Global Fund also noted that India's pioneering initiatives in the TB program, exemplified by innovations such as Truenat machines and handheld X-ray devices designed for challenging operational environments, served as outstanding models for global emulation.Union Health Secretary,Mr. Apurva Chandra who was a part of the convention also called upon Global Fund to continue its support to the TB program to strengthen the capacities of the public health systems. Molbio’s Truenat, a Real Time quantitative micro-PCR system, brings rapid molecular diagnostics right to the point-of-care. This revolutionary portable battery-operated technology can be deployed at all laboratory and non-laboratory settings, primary health centres, in the field, near patient, essentially at all levels of within the system thereby decentralising and democratising access to healthcare . This World Health Organization (WHO) approved device is infrastructure independent and provides a complete end to end solution for disease diagnosis. With proven ability to work even in the harshest of conditions and remotest geographies across the world the Truenat brings in a paradigm shift to the global fight in control and management of devastating infectious diseases. Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Mr. Sriram Natarajan, Founder and CEO Molbio, said “As a CEO, witnessing our homegrown product win global validation is not just a testament to our innovation but a reaffirmation of our commitment to excellence.
