Mission Karmayogi Expands to States: Andhra Pradesh to Pioneer Statewide Capacity Building Initiative

Mission Karmayogi Expands to States

Mission Karmayogi, the ambitious initiative designed to enhance the capacity of central civil servants, is now set to expand its reach to state-level governance. The Capacity Building Commission (CBC), in collaboration with Karmayogi Bharat, recently initiated efforts to bring the benefits of this program to all 4.5 lakh civil servants in Andhra Pradesh.

In a significant meeting held in Amaravati, CBC representatives R Balasubramaniam , Rakesh Verma, and S P Roy engaged in detailed discussions with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra babu Naidu and his team. The focus of the talks was to align the capacity building of state civil servants with the Chief Minister’s vision for Andhra Pradesh, which emphasizes boosting the state’s GDP and enhancing citizens’ ease of living.

The collaboration aims to establish a scalable model for capacity building that could be adopted by other states across India. In addition to enhancing the skills and capabilities of civil servants, the initiative will pioneer the measurement of its impact on governance and public service delivery.

The CBC and Karmayogi Bharat have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Andhra Pradesh in this mission, with the state poised to become a model for others in terms of comprehensive capacity building for civil servants. This expansion marks a new chapter in Mission Karmayogi’s efforts to strengthen governance and public administration across the country.
