SAMBALPUR. Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has officially commenced its Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 campaign, running from June 16 to June 30 across its headquarters and operational fields. Shri Uday Anant Kaole, Chairman and Managing Director, launched the fortnight-long initiative by administering the Swachhata Pledge at the MCL Headquarters in Sambalpur, motivating workforce members to contribute to a cleaner and greener nation.
Amplifying the campaign’s reach, female employees flagged off a dedicated Swachhata Rath to spread message-driven awareness regarding safety, personal hygiene, and environmental care. Throughout the fortnight, MCL plans to host a series of clean-up drives, plantation activities, and community outreach programs to firmly embed the spirit of collective responsibility and sustainable hygiene practices across all its mining zones and administrative segments.
