New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s leading automobile manufacturers with a strong commitment to holistic rural development, has been declared the Winner of the India CSR Award 2025 in the “CSR Project of the Year – Large Impact” category. The recognition was awarded for the company’s flagship initiative, Integrated Village Development Program – Empowering Rural Communities for Sustainable Growth.
The honour was conferred at the 16th India CSR Summit held in New Delhi, organised under the theme “CSR for Future-ready Economy: Aligning Business with SDGs.” The award acknowledges Maruti Suzuki’s multifaceted and high-impact interventions aimed at improving livelihoods, strengthening rural infrastructure, and fostering long-term socio-economic growth in villages across India.
