The Department of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra, marked a significant presence at the 32nd edition of SATTE 2026, South Asia’s leading B2B travel and tourism exhibition, held from 25–27 February 2026 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre), New Delhi.

The Maharashtra Pavilion at Stall B310, Hall 1, was officially inaugurated by the official delegation from Maharashtra Tourism. The participation underscored the State’s strategic focus on strengthening its national and international tourism footprint. Organised by Informa Markets, SATTE 2026 brought together exhibitors and buyers from over 50 countries and 28 State Tourism Boards, providing a robust platform for business expansion and destination promotion.

The Maharashtra delegation was led by Shri Santosh Jadhav, Joint Director (DoT); Shri Chandrashekhar Jaiswal, General Manager, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC); and Shri Vijay Jadhav, Deputy Director (DoT). The delegation included prominent hoteliers, tour operators, heritage stakeholders, and destination management professionals who engaged in structured B2B meetings and strategic networking sessions throughout the exhibition.

The Pavilion featured immersive LED audio-visual presentations and curated business interactions highlighting Maharashtra’s diverse tourism offerings – from its historic sea and hill forts associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the scenic Konkan coastline to wildlife circuits, pilgrimage destinations, urban tourism hubs, and emerging MICE opportunities.

Maharashtra’s participation at SATTE 2026 reaffirmed its commitment to positioning the State as a dynamic, sustainable, and investment-ready tourism destination, with a strong emphasis on diversified segments including heritage tourism, eco-tourism, coastal tourism, experiential travel, and MICE tourism.
