NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Labour and Employment has signed MoUs with Porter and Gigin Technologies to expand job opportunities and strengthen digital job matching through the National Career Service (NCS) portal. Under the partnership, Porter aims to create over 3 million logistics and driving opportunities by 2030, while Gigin will facilitate 2–3 lakh verified job opportunities annually along with significant employer engagement.
Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said the collaboration will improve access to transparent and reliable employment opportunities through the NCS portal. He added that the platform currently hosts over 0.7 million active vacancies and has nearly 5.9 million registered establishments, making it a key link between jobseekers and skill-based employment.
