Kotak Mahindra AMC Closes Maiden Private Credit AIF At Over INR 2,000 Crore

India, May 12, 2026 – Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company (KMAMC) today announced the final close of its maiden private credit Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), Kotak Credit Opportunities Fund, with commitments exceeding INR 2,000 crore.

The fund witnessed participation from High-Net-Worth Individuals, Ultra High Net Worth Individuals, family offices, corporate treasuries and institutional investors, reflecting strong investor interest in private credit as an emerging asset class. The successful close, above its initial target, underscores KMAMC’s disciplined investment approach and growing credibility in alternative assets, as well as its commitment to supporting India’s long-term growth with structured and solution-oriented capital.

Kotak Credit Opportunities Fund is a SEBI-registered Category II AIF focused on providing structured credit to businesses with a demonstrated operating track record. It leverages KMAMC’s institutional platform, sector insights and network to identify opportunities aligned with India’s growth trajectory while aiming to deliver risk-adjusted returns.
