Kochi Refinery received triple honors—Gold medal, Diamond Trophy, and Aatmanirbhar Factory Recognition Program (AFRP)—while Bina Refinery secured double awards—Gold medal and AFRP—at the 11th National Awards for Manufacturing Competitiveness (NAMC 2024-25), organized by the International Research Institute for Manufacturing (IRIM), India.
The awards were presented by Dr. A Sivathanu Pillai, Founder and Managing Director of BrahMos Missile, to the Kochi Refinery team led by Mr. A Mahendiran, CGM (Operations), along with other senior officials in Mumbai. The Bina Refinery team was led by Mr. Sanjeev Varma, General Manager (Manufacturing). These achievements mark significant milestones for Bharat Petroleum Refineries.
