The inauguration also witnessed the signing of key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) among DPSUs to enhance indigenisation and sustainability. HAL and BDL partnered with YIL to establish a 10,000-ton forging press facility, reducing import dependency. At the same time, another MoU with MIDHANI aims to set up a Metal Bank for uninterrupted raw material supply. Singh launched several initiatives, including the HAL R&D Manual, an integrated R&D roadmap, and SWAYAM, promoting green and sustainable defence manufacturing. India Optel Limited and Bharat Electronics Limited were lauded for achieving 100% renewable energy transition. Calling the Bhavan a “milestone in defence collaboration,” Singh reaffirmed India’s vision to become not only self-reliant but also a global hub for defence manufacturing under the guiding motto, “Sangachhadhwam Samvadadhwam”—Move together, dialogue together.
