Kapil Sharma who is the host-turned-actor, whose comeback comedy series, The Kapil Sharma Show is constantly in the top 5 list of most watched TV shows, has now been honored by World book of Records London for being one of the most viewed stand-up comedians.
A fan page of the popular comedian shared a certificate of honor on Instagram. This is not the first time when Kapil has been recognized for his talent. He has also won titles like Indian of the year and the best actor in the past.
Due to clashes with Sunil Grover in the past, Kapil lost the TRP of his show and also effected on his health and Kapil had to shut down his show. Now, Kapil starts his show which is going great after his marriage. His wife Ginni Chatrath seems to have proved lucky for him as not only his show, even he is getting awarded.
Kapil has been known for his efforts in promoting animal rights. In fact, the cast of his TV show, Comedy Nights with Kapil had appeared in a PETA campaign to promote the adoption of homeless cats and dogs.
