To cater for the increased air travel demand in Jodhpur, a new terminal building built at a cost of 500 crore rupees will be inaugurated soon. The airport will have the capacity to handle one thousand passengers and give a big boost to tourism and the local economy.
Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia said this while inaugurating flight connecting Jaipur and Jodhpur.
The occasion was graced by Sh Arjun Ram Meghwal, MoS for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, Sh Rajiv Bansal, Secretary-MoCA, Sh Asangba Chuba Ao, JS-MoCA, Shri R K Singh, Principle advisor – IndiGo6E and other senior officials.
