Indore Metro to deploy a ‘germ control system’ for a safe and hygienic environment

The Indore Metro will deploy a ‘germ control system’ to maintain germ free stations and trains. The trial run for the super priority corridor under phase one is expected to commence in September 2023.

Indore metro will be equipped with various other amenities for smooth commutes. This includes fully air conditioned environment, automation-2 technology (driverless mechanism), CCTV camera surveillance, platform screen door system (an area around the metro track will be covered with glass) and LED display boards on the trains. An emergency button will be installed through which passengers will be able to directly communicate with the driver or control room.
