IndianOil’s Barauni Refinery celebrates 60 years of energising the nation!

IndianOil’s Barauni Refinery commemorated its 60th anniversary, marking six decades of energizing the nation. The event showcased the refinery’s contribution toward regional development and highlighted the collaborative efforts of collectives, contractors, and stakeholders that have fueled its success.

During the celebrations, A S Sahney, Chairman of IndianOil, emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety, environmental focus, reliability, competitiveness, and strengthening core business functions for future growth. He inspired IOCians by quoting Swami Vivekananda: “Take one idea and make it your life,” urging them to innovate and strive for excellence.

As part of the anniversary festivities, a commemorative ‘My Stamp’ was released to honor the refinery’s significant journey. Sahney also presented a TruNAT Machine for advanced tuberculosis detection, reinforcing support for the national mission, TB Mukt Bharat.

Reflecting on his personal connection to the Barauni Refinery, Sahney expressed pride in returning to where his IndianOil career began. He extended his wishes for continued success as the refinery aims to reach new heights in energizing both the region and the nation in the coming years.

This milestone event stands as a testament to Barauni Refinery’s role in driving social transformation and signifies its commitment to future endeavors.
