Chasing a modest target of 83, India cruised to victory in just 11.2 overs, losing only one wicket. Opener Gongadi Trisha led the chase with a composed 44, ensuring a smooth finish. Earlier, India’s disciplined bowling attack dismantled South Africa’s batting lineup, restricting them to 82 in 20 overs. Opting to bowl first, India struck early with quick wickets, setting the tone for an emphatic triumph.
With this win, India reaffirmed their dominance at the U19 level, successfully defending their title in style.
