Shri R.K. Chaudhary, CMD, NHPC took part in Panel Discussion on “Developing Hydro Projects in North East: Opportunities, Challenges and Way Forward’ organized by India Energy Forum at India International Centre at New Delhi on recently. The panel consisted of eminent members as Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), Govt. of India, Shri R V Shahi, Former Secretary (Power), GoI, Shri Anil Razdan, Former Secretary (Power), GoI, Shri ICP Keshari, ADG, APP and Former Joint Secretary (Hydro), Ministry of Power and Shri Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson, CEA along with CMD, NHPC.
During the discussion, Shri Chaudhary provided valuable insights into the hydropower scenario in North East India, highlighting NHPC’s initiatives in hydropower development in the region, as well as the associated benefits, challenges and opportunities
