NEW DELHI. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated the Bharat Pavilion at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona, highlighting India’s rise as a global hub for telecom innovation. Addressing the international audience, Scindia emphasized that India is no longer just a consumer of technology but a “builder of networks,” utilizing indigenous research and development to create secure and affordable digital bridges. The Minister noted that India’s transformation is fueled by a commitment to inclusion, ensuring that cutting-edge connectivity empowers every citizen while fostering global partnerships under the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
The Bharat Pavilion features over 40 Indian innovators showcasing advancements in 5G, emerging 6G research, AI-driven network intelligence, and semiconductor design. During his visit, Scindia interacted with several homegrown firms, reviewing next-generation hardware and software solutions that aim to make India a self-reliant leader in the global telecom value chain. He also unveiled the curtain raiser for the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026, scheduled for October in New Delhi, inviting the world to collaborate with India in shaping the future of the “IQ Era.”
