NEW DELHI. Dr. Srikanta K. Panigrahi, Director General of Indian Institute of Sustainable Development (IISD), addressed a session at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, alongside global experts. He emphasised that open data and Artificial Intelligence can strengthen climate resilience and support India’s Net Zero 2070 and renewable energy targets. The session explored building a robust climate-energy data ecosystem to accelerate sustainable and inclusive development.
The India AI Impact Summit 2026 was a Landmark Global event held from February 16–21, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Positioned as the First Major Global AI Summit hosted in the Global South, it brought together over 20 Heads of State, 118 Countries, and 100+ Global AI CEOs to Transition from Theoretical Dialogue to Measurable Impact.
