CHENNAI. In a first-of-its-kind initiative under CSR, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) today launched a HAL Endowment Scholarship Scheme in partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) to support meritorious students from economically weaker sections of the society.
A Memorandum of Agreement to implement this initiative was signed between Mr. Pradeep Kumar, General Manager (HR), HAL and Prof. Manu Santhanam, Dean-in-charge–Alumni and Corporate Relations, IITM in the presence of Dr. D. K. Sunil, CMD, HAL, Dr Kamakoti, Director (IITM), Mr. M. G. Balasubrahmanya, Director (HR), HAL, Dr S D Premkumar, Independent Director, HAL and other senior officials.
