All the four accused in the gangrape and murder of a veterinary doctor in Hyderabad were killed in an encounter Friday morning. Confirming the development, VC Sajjanar, Cyberabad Police Commissioner, said, “The accused were killed in a police encounter at Chatanpally, Shadnagar today in the wee hours, between 3 am and 6 am.”

The four accused were taken on the spot to recount the crime scene as part of the investigation, but they tried to escape from there . After this, the police killed them in an encounter. It is being told that the accused tried to attack the police, after which the police killed them . The bodies of the accused have been taken to the Mahmudnagar Hospital for post-mortem.

Rekha Sharma, National Commission for Women said on #Telangana encounter: We always demanded death penalty for them, and here police is the best judge, I don’t know in what circumstances happened.

DCP Prakash Reddy of Shamshabad said The accused snatched arms from the police and opened fire on the police. After which the police fired back in self-defense, in which the accused were killed.

The victim’s father has said that now his daughter’s soul has found peace. The victim’s father said, it has been 10 days for my daughter death . I thank the police and the government for this. My daughter’s soul must have found peace now. At the same time, the sister of the victim said that I thank the Telangana Police, the Telangana Government and the media.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar said that accused Mohammad Arif,  Naveen,  Siva and Chennakeshavulu were killed in a police encounter in Chatanapalli, Shadnagar between 3 am and 6 am today.

Nirbhaya’s mother Asha Devi said that just as the police did justice in the Telangana case, similarly Nirbhaya’s culprits should also be punished. She said that the culprits of his daughter Nirbhaya have been sentenced to death by the Supreme Court but they have not yet been hanged. We have not got justice yet .
