As part of its CSR initiative, GAIL (India) Limited handed over 20 ambulances worth Rs 2.15 crore to Assam’s Government hospitals. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union Minister Rameshwar Teli attended the event, emphasizing the need for healthcare access in remote Assam areas. The initiative, under Project Arogya, aligns with the government’s health vision. These Maruti Eeco ambulances are equipped with essential medical facilities, contributing to the overall well-being of communities. GAIL also recently launched seven GPS-tracked Mobile Medical Units in Dibrugarh district to provide medical services and distribute sanitary napkins.
