NEW DELHI – GAIL has proudly received two SCOPE Eminence Awards in the institutional category, recognizing its excellence in Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility & Responsiveness. Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, CMD of GAIL, accepted the awards from Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, at a special ceremony today at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The event was graced by notable dignitaries including Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, Hon’ble MoS, Ministry of Finance; Shri K Moses Chalai, Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises; Shri Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE; and Shri K P Mahadevaswamy, Chairman, SCOPE, along with CMDs and employees from various public sector enterprises across India.
The SCOPE Eminence Awards, established by the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of Public Sector Enterprises.
These prestigious awards highlight GAIL’s steadfast dedication to India’s progress and prosperity, especially its ongoing efforts to promote energy security and sustainability, making India more self-reliant.
